Peter A. Lovett is a resident of Holderness, pastor at Meredith Congregational Church and (yes!) son of Sidney Lovett, long time Holderness resident.
- Brother of four; father of two, plus three step-children, and assorted dogs, cats, and bees.
- Student at PSU (on hockey team 1978–79); Graduated from UNH 1983.
- Peace Corps volunteer in Togo, West Africa, 1983–85. Yale Divinity School, 1985–89; Christian Minister 1989–present.
Until 2020, Peter served as Pastor of Christ Church United, Lowell, MA. He was involved in many peace and justice initiatives, including President of the Merrimack Valley Project, a faith based community organizing group. He is excited to learn more from the residents of Grafton District 8 and looks forward to being a strong voice for equity for all, living wage, women’s rights, public education, and stewardship of natural resources.
